Founded in 1961, RTF was family owned and operated by the Cowles family for over 55 years. During this time, Rapids Tumble Finish created an unmatched reputation for providing the highest quality and service in surface finishing. Growing its services from a single tumble barrel in the basement of a barn,into one of the largest finishing job shops in the Midwest today. Parts finished by RTF are now in every major automobile in the US and around the globe.

RTF’s unwavering commitment to quality and service made for a seamless transition of ownership when the original owner retired, and RTF was purchased by the Levy Family, esteemed customers and owners of Industrial Steel Treating. 

This partnership has expanded the level of excellence that defines us, by enhancing our expertise and embracing automation and innovation. This strategic evolution has allowed us to deliver even greater value to our customers, while continuing our devoted commitment to quality and service.
